In June 2023 my dad was unexpectedly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He went to the emergency room thinking he had a stone blocking the bile duct. After three days in the hospital and a surgery to put a stint in his bile duct, he was told he has pancreatic cancer. It was a life changing moment for our family. We are now in the midst of learning as much as we can about pancreatic cancer, attending numerous doctors appointments and developing a plan of treatment to fight this awful disease.
I know we are not alone and many other families have or are currently fighting this disease. I think everyone has a friend or family member that has fought or is fighting this battle against cancer.
I launched Support The Fight NFT Collection to generate awareness and raise funds to support cancer research. Fifty percent of the net proceeds from initial and secondary sales will be donated to nonprofit organizations that support cancer research and treatment.
